North Texas Food Bank Introduces Dallas’ Newest Organization for Philanthropic Young Professional: The Round Table

The new organization seeks to bring Dallas’ vibrant young professional community together through happy hours, networking opportunities, community service and signature events.

Philanthropic young professionals looking to fight hunger in North Texas while also expanding their social and professional network have a new organization to look to: the Round Table. Formed this year by the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB). Round Table members will receive unique access to volunteer opportunities, networking events, happy hours and informational programs all design to appeal to Dallas’ active young professional community.

Although officially launching now, the Round Table has already hosted Happy Hours and events by partnering with businesses in the community. Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, Pinkberry, Lemon Bar, Place at Perry’s and Sfuzzi have all played host to Round Table events. The group is hosting their next Happy Hour at The Owner’s Box at the Omni Dallas on Tuesday June 26th from 5:30PM to 7:30PM.

Membership in the Round Table is free. The goal is to further engage young professionals with the North Texas Food Bank and encourage them to join the mission to passionately pursue a hunger free community. In addition to the many social events planned, Round Table members have the added benefit of serving at NTFB’s warehouse on per-scheduled Saturday’s throughout the year.

The Round Table leadership is compose of 10 council members serving as representatives of the young professional community. For more information about the Round Table or the Round Table Council visit http://www.roundtabledallas.com.
